Hello everybody, and welcome to the software section! Just a few things I threw together on my computer.... They were all written in either Tpascal 4.0 (um..) or 7.0 (thanks, Craig) on my delightful 286-14. They're zipped up, but they're hardly big. Don't blame me if they blow up your computer....... They all run in ms-dos, by the way......

Announcing the release of Space86. Completely written in x86 assembly language, this little baby has been in production for unbelievably long, involving two major rewrites.

  • Space.zip cunningly tells you how much space you have on a particular drive. Includes a nice little bar function.
    [pascal source code]

  • Space86! is as above but written in x86 assembly language, resulting in a smaller, tighter, faster executable.
    [x86 source code]

  • Random.zip is a random-function type thingy. It reads command lines which you've put in a file and chooses one at random. I use it to play a random sound from my many millions (but I'm strange like that)

  • Html2Txt.zip rips the text from an html file and slams it into a .txt file. Good for those who haven't got an html reader (or those who can't run windows.....). Doesn't do anything with the <> bits, yet....

    See ya'
